Safer Spaces at the Philadelphia Tango Festival

We are very fortunate and extremely grateful to go into the Philadelphia Tango Festival this year with a Safer Spaces Program already in place.

Philadelphia Argentine Tango School Safer Spaces Coordinators, Kate Donohue, Gustavo Rueda and Amy Yang, will also be managing Safer Spaces policies, procedures and concerns, during the Philadelphia Tango Festival.

The goal of the program is to make the festival safe, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, sexuality, ability, experience, background, or other identifying features.

Please take a moment to review the Safer Spaces policies on the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School website.

Safer Spaces

At each festival milonga, Safer Spaces volunteers will be available. They’ll be wearing the Safer Spaces button.

If you have an experience that doesn’t feel right, need someone to talk to, or need any other support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
